Every step, that we take, A new beginning, we can make, No matter where, you start today, You can find, a better way, Release the baggage, of your past, And step away, all too fast, For you are not, defined at all, By those moments, where you fall, It isn’t the fact, that we fail, That’s not the end, of your tale, It’s how you pick, yourself up again, That shows your spirit, and play this game, Everyone fails, or you’ve never tried, And it’s okay, if you once cried, But wipe away, those tears and say, I will always fight, another day, For failure teaches, us everything, About who we are, and what we bring, To the new, day we start, All you need, is a little heart, Forget the past, focus on ahead, This life is yours, for your wings to spread. — Alan Firmin
