Farfetch Travel App Press Launch

I produced an event to celebrate the launch of the Farfetch Discover Travel App. Farfetch hosted leading fashion and travel press with the objective to create an inspiring and engaging setting that built talkability about the brand and the new launch. Guests arrived to the Grand Designs featured venue via different modes of transport – tuk tuks, vintage cars, luxe camper vans, and a speedboat – creating talking points on arrival and cementing the travel message from the offset, with lots of details featured throughout the venue that heightened Social Media engagement and press interaction. The Travel App was revealed on an island of plinths in white, black, and red; playing with the (then) brand colour scheme. iPhones were docked on plinth tops, set into various geometric painted wooden blocks, allowing guests to easily interact with the new App before being seated for dinner. A hand-illustrated world map was decaled onto dining tables, highlighting key Farfetch boutiques, destinations and importantly hot spots from the new Travel App, along with landmark moments in the brand’s history.
