Farfetch VIP Dinner

  • Susie Young

Farfetch hosted an evening, in conjunction with the Tate and their young Patrons to thank their most loyal customers and introduce others to the brand. With the guests being seasoned event go-ers, the venue for the evening was paramount – something special had to be found. I hit gold by securing the Hay Showrooms for the VIP dinner, a unique space overlooking St James’ Park - never before used as an event space. Curating and styling the space, I ensured that the Farfetch brand ethos and experience flowed through every detail – from the unique venue, to the contemporary table-scape and the high design and luxurious finish. Fusing a love of fashion, art and design, the event treatment was sympathetic to the surroundings, taking inspiration for the custom made menus, place cards and event stationery (design by Kelly Anna London) from the fabrics that lined the panelled walls, by artist Nathalie Du Pasquier for Hay. The maverick guest chef, Antto Melasniemi curated a menu that was as inventive as it was delicious, finishing with an award-winning dessert that had guests applauding.
