Response to Hasbro D&AD New Blood Brief 2017
The constant use of technology within the younger generation is a topical problem. I wanted to create a game that makes people socialise and interact at parties again. Fat Fingers is an amusing, fast-paced, competitive, team game where players complete tasks with huge inflatable hands on. Not only does the game encourage laughter and silly behaviour, it also physically prevents phone use – People can’t “quickly reply to a text” with massive inflatable hands! The name is a play on the saying used when someone mis-types a text, which is a nice ironic link to the anti-technology aim of the game.
