The inspiration for this project came from the willingness to counter the inability that human beings have to convey emotions with words. As every feeling is unique, sometimes words work like a barrier, limiting our expression. Moreover, in the last decades, technologies have become our primary communication tool making emotions even less meaningful and complex to interpret through a screen. FEELJEWEL is head jewellery that allows individuals to convey emotions visually without using words. The prototype I developed is a head decor that, via sensors, translates feelings and communicates them through lights by understanding brain waves.
