I was recently part of a Female Founders roundtable event at Number 10, helping advice the government on ways the can better support female Founders!
This one is for my Dad! Uniquely for the time, my amazing father didn’t bring me up as a girl or a boy, but simply as a person - allowing me to flourish into exactly the type of person I was meant to be.
Thanks for always de-prioritising the material things, instead spoiling me with love & mind blowing experiences (a bungy jump for my 14th birthday was a particular high!)
My amazing Dad fully involved me in his work; and some of my earliest memories are hanging out in his office, meeting the team, answering the phone, photocopying & doing faxes for him (yes, I’m that old!). Dad - you ignited in me a passion for work and all things creative, & for that I am eternally grateful!
Here’s to all the Dads raising their kids in a similar way, this how things really change!
