Creative direction and graphic design for new travel magazine. Fields and Stations is a travel magazine “more interested in the world than in hotel and spa openings, one invested in culture but not “authenticity”, one dedicated to providing a home for the passion projects of very good travel writers.” I collaborated on the magazine’s visual direction from the start. Along with the creator and editor Alex Robertson Textor, we decided on the graphic direction and I created and implemented the overall design of the publication. My goal was to create a light, pleasant printed project where the content (text and photos) spoke for themselves. The graphic design is clean but with it’s own personality, complementing the content, not overpowering it.
