I’m a Graphic Designer, Creative Director and Researcher with over 12 years experience working for clients from all over the world, with a degree in Communication Design, an MA in Typography and Editorial Practices, and working on a PhD in Digital Media where I'm exploring design as a tool for climate change communication.
I have a special love for print projects – books, magazines, branding – but I know a strong brand is an holistic one, so I also design for social media and the web to make sure all aspects of the visual language are coherent and well thought out.
I believe in creative work and visual experimentation, always with the utmost professionalism.
Projects
- Workshop01Branding and communication design for Workshop01, a design studio re-inventing work wear for the new world of work. The W01 brand is modern and represents quality but with a human side. To represent these concepts, I united a “W” shape that was inspired by the strokes of a calligrapher’s broad nib pen – hence the human, manual side interpreted in a modern way. The “01” was designed from very simple, thinner shapes to contrast with the W and give the logo a contemporary look.
- Fields & Stations magazineCreative direction and graphic design for new travel magazine. Fields and Stations is a travel magazine “more interested in the world than in hotel and spa openings, one invested in culture but not “authenticity”, one dedicated to providing a home for the passion projects of very good travel writers.” I collaborated on the magazine’s visual direction from the start.
