Fife Contemporary New Maker Award Winners 2021

Excited to announce my graduate work alongside eleven other graduates have been selected for 2021/2022 Fife Contemporary New Makers Award. This opportunity allows us to further develop research and craft and to hone our skills within our artistic practice. We are now an artist cohort holding a range of interesting niche expertise and I am excited to grow and learn from the other artists. Us together will be Materialise 5. Throughout the coming year I wish to further develop my collection within waxed cotton, I am intrigued by Scottish textiles, the plethora of diverse local fabrics and the stories that built each manufacturer. Winning this award granted funding, I hope to purchase an overlocker to push the boundaries of my practice and the materials I work with. Our exhibition will be available Oct/Nov 2022.
