Brief: Identify a need or problem and create a product that involves movement without the use of electronics.
In the UK a person uses 150 litres of water a day. A lot of this water is being wasted when it can be reused for other functions.
This product will enable consumers to use grey water to water plants safely, and also make them aware of how water can be recycled in their own homes.
Grey water is left over water from baths, showers, washing machines and washing up.
Concepts inspired by shapes found in nature and an exploration of ways the water will leave the product.
Different types of filters were tested and it was determined that for this project the use of a pond filter was most appropriate. The pond filter will remove any debri from the grey water and make it suitable to be used on plants.
