Flanzine

  • Filipa Campos
The logo for a magazine inspired by the old fanzines. Flanzine was created on Facebook by two virtual friends, João Pedro Azul and Luís Olival. With some nerve, they infected a group of prominent authors and artists from different fields and languages that started joining the family.

The name plays around with the word "fanzine" and the highly consumed and loved dessert, the flan pudding.
Throughout its existence, the small magazine published work by Vaério Romão, Bruno Vieira do Amaral, Claudia Lucas Chéu, Gonçao M. Tavares, Ricardo Abreu, Afonso Cruz, Filipa Pais, Lord Mantraste, among many others.

I was part of the team until the sixth issue, "Fome/Hunger".
