Australian start-up Flora & Fungi tasked me with creating an identity for their gourmet mushroom farm which sells a range of unusual, fresh, delicious and beneficial mushrooms to restaurants, cafes and directly to customers. The brief was to create an identity that had a high-end feel but also down to earth to reflect the quality of the product and their dedication to regenerative practices that work with nature to create a system that becomes not only self-sustaining but actively regenerates the land and creates greater abundance. As is always the case, it was imperative that the branding remained authentic to their holistic focus and the natural systems they have in place. Packaging considerations were key to this with equal efforts made to ensure that the product is kept at it’s optimum with sensitivities to minimal packaging and use of inks.
