A selection of pages from my FMP Portfolio. BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Marketing at Northumbria University. Class of 2020. Recollection is a luxury womenswear brand aiming to create garments that tell a story to encourage consumers to emotionally connect with clothing and reduce the increasing problem of overconsumption. Recollections SS21 narrative is based on a story from my own personal heritage and home town, based on the Isle of Man in the late 1800's. Inspired by a time when Manx holidaying was at its peak, but also the resort of professional pickpockets disguised and targeting middle class holiday makers. A special thank you to the Manx National Heritage for providing newspaper cuttings from the era to allow me to collate rich information and create individual case studies on these women and what they wore
