I started painting in watercolor practicing with real life painting, isolating simple elements that would allow me to study colors, volumes, shadows and surfaces more precisely. I started with bottles, books, jars, but my favorite subjects were vegetables, fruits, food and plants right from the start. My fridge immediately turned into a perfect wunderkammer. So I started to create an archive of ingredients in which I try to evoke, throughliquid and transparent watercolor paint, perfumes and the flavors of the subjects I’m going to portray.
