Foodism is a monthly magazine, owned by Square Up Media, based on the best food and drink to be found in London. It is distributed at a range of tube stations and restaurants in the South West London area.
As part of the design team I worked alongside the editorial team to create articles that engaged readers. Foodism is an extremely visual magazine with a great emphasis on food photography which was largely shot in house at our studio. This gave me a great insight into the studio photography process, my role being to assist and create concepts and then to help the photographer and then to polish the image in post production.
Foodism also has a growing online presence which the design team has recently rebranded, the website features both articles from the magazine and online exclusives.
Working for Foodism was a fantastic experience and a great opportunity to further develop my skills and gain experience working alongside people outside of the design discipline.
