For the love of kinshasa

In November I was hired by a non profit organization: @congonationofball to document basketball players, students and locals that inhabit the magical and beautiful city of Kinshasa, DRC Africa. Within the first few days of this amazing 14 day adventure I was instantly mesmerized by the all the beauty and colour Kinshasa had to offer. The Congo is known for being extremely dangerous and violent which is not the case, especially in Kinshasa. Our goal was to illustrate the beauty of this magical city and showcase the amazing and talented people we met along the way. Congo Nation of Ball is currently working on a several projects focused on helping students and future sports hopefuls in Kinshasa. They are currently in the middle of raising funds to go back and renovate local basketball courts throughout the city for everyone to enjoy.
