This project was designed for Womens Sportwear, inspired by architecture from different places Formula 1 has toured around. This inspiration idea was led from the previous project of race car inspiration, looking for ideas in a less literal manner.
I have created digital designs alongside my woven cloths in this project to improve my digital skills and to explore a different use of materials for the chosen context. I have created 2 collections within this project, one with hints of red and one without. Due to the different context I used other materials in my woven pieces such as Reflective yarns, Rayons, Viscose, Tencel and thicker tapes. This project particularly allowed me to build my material knowledge. All woven cloths are created a digital loom. All digital designs are printed onto various Polyesters suited to the context.
