For this project we had a selection of words to choose from, I choose the words Fractured, Bright, Cut, Eclectic and Smooth. For this project I went to a couple of museums to find inspiration, looking at things that my words related to. My main focus was gemstones, I liked the fractured shapes and the mixture of colour. With this project i create different textile samples, inspired by things i had seen in museums or galleries. This lead to design ideas and a final 10 which I illustrated using computer and by hand.The fabric samples I printed using brusho inks, I used the inks to colour my final designs also just because the effect is creates is beautiful and cant be created using computer.
