Frank Lloyd Wright at 150

  • Alice Robinson
To promote his upcoming MoMA exhibition ‘Frank Lloyd Wright at 100’ we were asked to design posters to be screen printed in the Swiss style. I chose blue and red to represent his reputation as an American icon in architecture. I chose Helvetica for the same reason (classic American) but also because of how bold and rounded the letters are. Taking inspiration from the shapes and forms in his architectural work to design the poster. This poster is currently part of the MoMA archives.
