- Creatures of Habit - Highly Commended BBD&PA Finalist 2017I curated and designed a 240 page, tabbed publication exploring the reasons and treatments for the most common bad habits people have. Selecting scientific articles explaining the habits and confessions from the public. I was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ as a finalist in the Best Student Book category of the British Book Design & Production Awards 2017 for this book ‘Creatures of Habit.’
- Shapes That Shake - GIFs in static, print formEditorial spreads that explores the rise in the use of GIFs and displaying them in a static, print form through layering different states to show the movement. The GIFs shown are not my own work and belong to Tess Smith-Roberts, Cecile Dormeau, Thoka Maer, Kate Bones, Raul Soria and Stephen Vuillemin.
- Embroidered MonogramI designed a monogram for my Grandmother inspired by her career as a typist and her love of beaded jewellery. Machine stitched onto silk and cotton handkerchiefs. I also designed a monogram to represent my Grandfather that wasn't embroidered. He was a city planner and still has a large collection of the wooden rulers he used during his career.
- Frank Lloyd Wright at 150To promote his upcoming MoMA exhibition ‘Frank Lloyd Wright at 100’ we were asked to design posters to be screen printed in the Swiss style. I chose blue and red to represent his reputation as an American icon in architecture. I chose Helvetica for the same reason (classic American) but also because of how bold and rounded the letters are. Taking inspiration from the shapes and forms in his architectural work to design the poster. This poster is currently part of the MoMA archives.

- Southville's Remaining ArtWe produced a 'Art exhibition' from the mysterious marks which we found on our travels around Southville. These things which often go unnoticed are what we wanted to communicate. We raised questions about the marks which were left as if they were the remainders of stories. Therefore, we produced labels of possible stories of how the marks came about and placed frames around the marks which made them noticeable and interesting to the public as many people stopped to look at what was being framed. This raised awareness of these marks as we intended into. But also raised more questions such as is this art? Mark making in most senses can be seen as art and visual communication. So why are these marks often ignored? We finally produced this into a exhibition guide of all the found marks, to tell their stories.

Contributing to editorial spread layouts & photo editing for their September issue gave me the chance to develop my InDesign and editorial skills after years of loving magazines.
Reference from Anette Wildar, Editor: “I have had the opportunity to view her ability to accomplish tasks in a very efficient manner, develop creative and unique layouts & to support the art director with other tasks. She has shown great knowledge of both InDesign & Photoshop, & she followed briefs well & turned around designs very fast with great attention to details. She was polite, professional & a pleasure to work with.”
