From first hand converstions, surveys and discussions we have developed a sollution to The Royal School of Art's Sleep matters brief. We have made many mock us and research doccuments which we have user tested to get to our final design.
Daylight is the new daytime TV.
We propose a new behavior change campaign for retired people over the age of 60. Retired people on lower incomes are staying indoors watching television most of the day and into the evening. This makes your body unable to differentiate night and day.
Our final inofrmative newspaper publication will advise and encourage the retired on how to get out and about in their local community. Just 20 minutes of sunlight will boost your sleep quality. This change in behavior helps with medical conditions such as obesity, heart disease and diabetes through increased physical activity. It’s a holistic initiative that has the capability to improve a person’s mind, body and soul.

Our solution consisted of our bright and encouraging newspaper which would be delivered through the doors of those who may be suffering from not leaving the house. This would target those directly and help encourage and persuade them to venture outside and get some fresh air and much needed daylight. This also helps with health and wellbeing for that individual which is an added bonus of getting outside and getting a better nights sleep.
