Fresnel Lens - Incantations (Album)

Incantations is the result of around 6 months of experimentation and composition - this work follows on from the previous 2 Fresnel Lens releases as a collection of my experimental composition works. I chose the title as I noticed towards the end of the writing process that a theme and mood was emerging as I trawled through the last 6 months worth of work...I felt that whilst this album still retains threads of the previous two releases, (notably the use of exclusively make noise modular synths and outboard analog processing) but the pallete has also been expanded to include recordings of human voices, twisted into chants and loops that for me evoke a feeling of devotion and ritual.
