Furore

The concept of originated from an emphasis on ‘radical thinking’; the adjective: radical, can be simply defined as rigorous change of the fundamental nature of something, creating innovative work out of the ordinary. ‘Thinking’ and ‘behaviour’ are intrinsically linked, although it can also be argued that thinking is a form of behaviour. The concept of this collection is an exploration of the explosive behaviour of materials through various techniques. My definition of radical is approaching this project in a different direction from the current trends and the ordinary ideals of what can be perceived as ‘contemporary’. This collection is inspired by the infusion of explosive silhouettes juxtaposed with lingerie of 1920’s showgirls.
