Future Women+ Leaders - Live Project Brief

75% of UAL students identify as female but less than 33% of the managers in the cultural industries are women. We want to inspire and empower UAL students to break through the glass ceiling and become the creative leaders of the future.

This free learning programme will take you on a journey of self-discovery and development. The series of workshops, delivered by Diversifying Leadership for Advance HE, will show you what it takes to be a leader and how those skills can be applied within the creative sector.

The course will include a live brief from leading publishing company Raconteur; designed to support you with the development of leadership skills including: networking, teamwork and communication. The live brief will also provide you with a creative project for your CV/portfolio.

This opportunity is open to students who meet all of the following criteria:
  • Are home (UK) students.
  • Are in the 2nd 3rd/final year of an undergraduate course at UAL.
  • Whose parent(s)/ guardian(s) have not completed a University degree.
