Contiki's Austrian Gasthof was in dire need of a renovation, to bring it up to standard for it's millennial instagram-generation clientele. Striking the balance between respecting its Austrian heritage & location, and bringing cool youth elements into the mix; graphics & wayfinding played a crucial role in tying together the Austrian ski chalet aesthetic meets youth insta-worthy & Contiki boldness. Large, bold letters in vibrant colours, doubled as artwork filling large stairwell walls.
Custom designed neon, casts a pink glow over the dining room, adding a bright colour wash. While large custom, collage prints adorn the back wall.
Custom artwork (RHS), skis are arranged into an Austrian Flag
The youthful space is designed to accommodate large groups of18 to 35 year olds.
