Girls Let's Talk (Girls Talk London) Black History Month Event 2019 - PR/Comms

This year, I helped to provide PR/comms support to Girls Talk London ambassador Shannie Mears' Girls Let's Talk event for Black History Month 2019. The event was held at Vapiano Tottenham Road with Shannie Mears as the lead organiser and co-ordinated, organised & planned with event manager, Damilola Onamusi and content/marketing specialist, Nina Danjuma. I helped to secure the event coverage in BYP Network's newsletter (8000+ subscribers), Steemit's Black History Month lineup and organised a partnership with Headline Publishing Group who provided 50+ books and flyers. I also wrote a full length piece of content as post-event coverage for the Girls Talk London website. It was great to work alongside such talented and experienced women and to play a small part in such a memorable event.
