Give’s a lick, is a series of masks that transition between domestic and fetishized objects. The combination of created utterances by the artist interjected with audio clips of current domestic advertisements, explores both female sexuality and domesticity. Selected materials from the domestic such as gelatine, leathers and metal reinforce the concept of the fetishized object. These objects reference and subvert the traditional depiction of the female role within the domestic.
