Global Announcement - Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi

I led the overall PR delivery of the global announcement of a new Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, a project that had many working parts. I worked closely with NatGeo's Michael Greshko to negotiate and secure the editorial exclusive about one of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi's showstoppers, Stan the Tyrannosaurus rex. This story went viral globally, resulting in significant media and social media coverage. Media covering the story included CNN and The Guardian. My role also involved training the lead Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT) spokesperson, Dr Mark Beech who gave interviews to media at the launch of a special exhibition designed to excite Abu Dhabi locals and enable them to experience Stan the T.rex for themselves, as well as educate them about other prehistoric fossils of creatures that were native in the UAE, millions of years ago. In addition, I led preparation of Q&A and key communications materials including infographics and press releases and their issuance via global newswire.
