Globe-Trotter 125th Anniversary

Globe-Trotter are celebrating their 125th Anniversary and to commemorate this landmark year, is releasing two special edition suitcases, which will launch this Autumn. With craftsmanship and heritage continuing to be the heartbeat of the company, the 125th Anniversary Special Edition Suitcase celebrates luggage in its purest form. Focussing on a hand-held suitcase without any modern-day trolley systems or wheels, the simple design is compensated by intricate design details seen in the suitcase’s interior silk lining, as well as a plush leather covering the exterior. The focus of the video should be predominantly about craftsmanship and exploring the ‘making’ of the suitcase. Using predominantly videography with accompanying photography, we’d like to capture scenes from Gainsborough which will showcase the craftsmanship and work involved in creating the lining, while scenes at the Globe-Trotter factory will focus on the assembly of the suitcase. Overall, we’d like to show how the various processes all come together to make this one-off piece of luggage.
