Visit England wanted to create a fully integrated campaign which encouraged foreign travellers to look beyond their current expectations of England, beyond London, and go a little further to the North. It also conveys the visceral and authentic experiences that are unique to the whole region and waiting to be discovered.
On an emotional level, this campaign asks travellers to Go a little further into deeper, more immersive experiences, unique to the North.
The campaign was launched in press, online and on social media with activation events held in major transport hubs around Europe and in London.
Each piece of communication laddered back to the idea of Going a Little Further, from the art direction which used pathways or walls to lead the viewer 'In', to leaflets which folded out vertically - effectively, pointing North.
