GRAPHICS WITH EMOJIS

I have recently began to use Instagram not just as a medium to broadcast and publish, but as a sketching tool in which I re-use emojis and decontextualise them as means to create new images.
Emojis in this series become drawing tools in the canvas provided by Instagram's type section.
Emojis are limited in size and once pushed beyond their limit, as any other image,  pixelate. I exploit in cases these limitations which highlight the crude dimensions of our portable displays.
Some graphics are lighthearted and humorous, some are spatial and minimal and for the latter, I have started to collate them together in @graphicswithemojis, with these, I have started a series of animated short loops that should encourage the viewer to stay glued to the image displayed on the screen and to press against the urge to scroll to the next post.
