Great Explorers

The Brief: Research previous explorers/expeditions and create a piece of design that captures the content in a new and exciting way. Solution: I chose to focus on entomologist and traveller Evelyn Cheesman. Exploring the hands on approach she adopted through my own work, using origami to craft insects and plants to bring her achievements to life. An editorial was produced celebrating the role she played within the Natural History Museum, featuring sketches, diary entries and photography to give context to her journeys.
