GREENPEACE INTERNATIONAL - TIKTOK #TIMEISTIKKING CAMPAIGN

Working with them on our sixth campaign together, Greenpeace is an independent, global movement of people who are passionate about defending the natural world from destruction. THE CHALLENGE To educate audiences on ByteDance’s (TikTok’s parent company) lack of renewable energy performance and a call for change for ByteDance to commit to 100% renewable energy and carbon neutrality by 2030. THE CAMPAIGN Seven UK based activists created video content that both educated their audience and called out ByteDance to commit to the above pledge. Each creator posted on TikTok and Instagram in collaboration with Greenpeace International’s account whilst also using the campaign hashtag, #TimeIsTikking. THE RESULTS 25,149+ Engagement Actions! The influencers created impactful, engaging video content across Instagram and TikTok encouraging their audiences to take action by liking, commenting and sharing the video to boost the campaign. The campaign generated over 800 thousand impressions and counting, reaching 737,848+ people across the two platforms. It had a very strong engagement rate of 14% and generated over 25,149+ engagement actions, with many people helping to spread the message and encourage action and changes from ByteDance to pledge towards carbon neutrality and using renewable energy in their practices.
