Concept art, character sheets and storyboards I did for an interactive fiction horror game based on the tale of Greyfriars Bobby, created for AppBox Media.
Bobby was the beloved pet dog of John Gray. When John Gray died, a devastated Bobby stood guard over his grave for the next fourteen years, his loyalty becoming the stuff of legend in Edinburgh.
For the game, we wanted to continue Bobby’s story after his death. Bobby, now a ghost, discovers that the task of his safeguarding his master is far from over. Hunted by the malicious spirits and creatures that haunt Greyfriars Kirkyard, John Gray has never moved on, and if they are to be reunited, Bobby must save his master’s soul or lose him for good.
