Grit short

A short video, pulling handles for cups. In the beginning, my creative career didn't mean a whole lot to professional potters unless I was competent with basic techniques. I wanted their respect, and had to put in the hours of work making small repeat forms. Learning the basics shows consideration for the craft, but sometimes I think it might have been a deviation away from creative expression. None the less, now I have the choice of what to do with these skills. Here is a short video showing me pulling handles for cups. One of many basic techniques you learn in the early days.
