creating pom pom monsters. This session was themed with halloween, the youths were shown how to wrap yarn around a template to create a pom pom then they could decorate it however they wanted.
Chalkboard plinths: I painted areas in the youth centre with chalkboard paint so the youths could create there own decor.
eggcup bunnies: this was done over two sessions to allow the clay to dry. Using air drying clay they worked from a template of how to make them and were allowed to use thier imagination to paint them.
frames & planes: using wooden sticks, washi tape and clothes pegs we created some lovely designs.
Photo rock holders: this craft was themed around Fathers Day. This could have been split over two sessions as the wire element of the project needed some practise, but gave alot of the youths something they were proud to take home.
Puppet making I helped assist on this project, helping the youths be creative and implement there ideas.
