GUCCI CIRCOLO SHOREDITCH POP-UP - WINTER 2021

Italian luxury fashion house Gucci have unveiled their winter residency at the David Adjaye designed Gucci Circolo Shoreditch hub. Developed as a temporary experiential space set over 2 floors, the #Shoreditch location acts as a discovery centre for the brands customers and fans. Housing a rotating collection that will include the #Guccciaria hack with Balenciaga, the current display is an exclusive curated edit of pieces that have been designed to mark the fashion houses’s 100 year anniversary. Music that has inspired Creative Director Alessandro Michele is a key theme throughout the pop-up, with a selection of key pieces across jackets, denim, handbags, and accessories emblazoned with “Music is mine, Gucci seats reclined” that will be familiar to hip hop enthusiasts as the lyrics from Eric B and Rakims 1989 hit “The R”, while Amy Winehouse’s “And the men notice you, with your Gucci bag crew” also makes an appearance. The ground floor is the ultimate offline experience where you can get up-close and personal with mens and women’s ready-to-wear, signature 'Double G ' accessories, and retro-inspired luggage. A mini book store in partnership with Dover Street Market publisher @idea.ltd offers visitors the opportunity to pick up a hand-selected art, fashion, or photography tome, or marvel at the rare edition of Lewis Carroll’s Alices Adventures in Wonderland. Make a private appointment online to gain access to the second floor and continue your journey further into the multi-disciplinary world of Gucci. Spend time in the Listening Lounge and spin a classic album from Celeste, Nick Cave, or Iggy Pop, grab a coffee at the Gucci Café, or settle in for the day at custom-built workspace.
