Guest Editorship with Disability Arts Online

Zuleika Lebow’s guest editorship took place in autumn 2021, exploring the relationship between representations of disability and race in science fiction and fantasy. She invited contributions from Black and Brown women and non-binary people, whose work and interests embrace cyborgism, body neutrality, Afrofuturism and technological landscape. Zuleika’s curation of a range of essays, conversations, showcases and creative pieces delves into the ways that disabled diasporic creatives have utilised concepts within sci-fi/ fantasy media to provide representation of their bodies in a way that bestows agency and centres diverse points of view.
