Briefing Rugby and Guinness do not have a significant presence in Portugal. Guinness is the main sponsor of the Six Nations Tournament. During the tournament weeks, Guinness wanted to leave a mark in the Portuguese market. So, they approached Leo Burnett Lisbon to solve this. I was a full-time worker there and was lucky enough to have this briefing summoned to me as a designer, art director, and illustrator. Having been a rugby player made the project more pleasant to solve. Project Rugby is a sport that, above all, lives on its values. Like Guinness, team spirit and unity are the meaning of life. How can we depict this in a single image? By combining the most iconic element of the brand, the perfect pint, with the most iconic moments of the union in sport. All in one illustration.
