Habaneros (Burgers, Wings, Shakes)
Brand refresh for Habaneros London.
Celebrating the 5 year anniversary of restaurant @habaneroslondon I was working on a brand refresh for the restaurant.
Habaneros launched in Tooting Bec (South London) in 2014. Since launching, the restaurant has sold 553,000 burger meals, 721,000 wings, and 230,000 milkshakes.
The brand's second restaurant opened in Willesden Green (North London). The brand refresh includes the launch of a new logo, typography, and social media tool kit.
We have focused heavily on the Flame and the whole idea of the 'ignition' of the flame.
The reason behind this is to show the whole idea of sparking a 'flame grill' as part of the Habaneros signature grilling process for gourmet food.
We created a fiery border and then one variant with a solid key line. This is so both elements could work well in the paperback environment, grease paper and other essential restaurant paraphernalia required for a successful fast-food business.
The font is our strongest throwback reference to the idea of game, pixelation, and bitmap/retro graphics (something that the founding members of the restaurant have a passion for).
