Halina is a Brighton-based jewellery maker who designs and hand-makes unique gold and silver pieces. As a self-taught artist, she has built her craft upon her history in Dentistry, drawing on her experience of working with familiar materials and tools to inform her jewellery-making process. Halina’s designs are inspired by her Zimbabwean heritage and her interest in ancient artefacts from Great Zimbabwe. Her work is a personal interpretation and recreation of the medieval city’s precious jewellery, of which little still exists today.
