Hand Marbled 2019 Desk Calendar

It all started with some marbling inks. I began experimenting with different pigment types, water temperature and paper stocks to see how these variables affected the outcome of the pattern. I collated my favourites, scanned them, worked a little Photoshop magic and used them as the foundations of this 2019 desk calendar. Giving the traditional calendar a modern twist, I took Scandinavian inspiration to create a simple design that championed the hand marbled patterns. I chose an uncoated stock to enhance the natural paper texture and paired this with a cork holder. The A6 double-sided cards make this a handy little addition to a desk, adding a hint of colour throughout the seasonal hues used over the 12 months. See more here: etsy.me/2GhY4j4
