About me
Seeing an idea come to life ignites my creativity and consolidates my enthusiasm for design. I’m a multi-disciplinary creative with a forward-thinking approach. My career has seen me working within an agency environment as well as independently, which has helped me to sculpt a wealth of knowledge, industry experience and client relationships. Surrounded by all things design, my personal interests lie within editorial and layout. With attention to detail and the ability to understand client needs, I strive to create unique and bespoke solutions that go above project requirements and beyond expectations.
Projects
  • Hand Marbled Ceramic Coasters
Hand Marbled Ceramic CoastersWith an existing love for marbling, I wanted to push the boundaries that little bit further. Having experimented with paper marbling, I gathered a few new materials to see what interesting results I could create. Using a different pigment to paper marbling (enamel paints rather than marbling inks), I followed a similar technique. This involves 'floating' the pigment on the surface of a room temperature water bath, by dropping it on the surface. I soon realised enamel paint dries very fast, so

  • Hand Marbled 2019 Desk Calendar
Hand Marbled 2019 Desk CalendarIt all started with some marbling inks. I began experimenting with different pigment types, water temperature and paper stocks to see how these variables affected the outcome of the pattern. I collated my favourites, scanned them, worked a little Photoshop magic and used them as the foundations of this 2019 desk calendar. Giving the traditional calendar a modern twist, I took Scandinavian inspiration to create a simple design that championed the hand marbled patterns. I chose an uncoated stock

I achieved a First Class Degree from the University of Northampton. My final major project explored over-consumption within today's society; the findings were presented in a series of 3 designed newspapers, entitled 'warped'. Using visual devices, this gave an alternative look at large companies, advertising and the horrifying repercussions.
