Harlem Community Report (Student Brief)

Capturing Harlem’s identity as an ever- changing place and entity. Throughout Harlem’s history it has worn different faces, and there has always been a focus on people rather than the place. My design had to show the different sides that Harlem has had through its history. The first problem to solve was what title to give it? Giving it one main title, felt disin- genuous to the history of the place. I solved this problem by creating a word-search that contained all the words I had found to be representative of Harlem.
