Heineken Kanpai Rugby World Cup 2019 As one of the title sponsors of the Rugby World Cup Heineken wanted to unlock the game of rugby and the country of Japan for its guests. So we created Kanpai (Japanese for cheers btw!) a multichannel hospitality and guest engagement campaign that saw over 500 guests entertained for the Rugby World rub shoulders with rugby stars and get close to the on-pitch action. I led the creative direction and strategic planning for this project and oversaw the creation of the entire program and the graphic identity for the event that captured the excitement of the Rugby World Cup and celebrated Japanese culture.
