Advert for the ‘It’s On!’ event at Hampton Court, London. Although the event never came to fruition as it was cancelled due to the pandemic, it is still a design that I am extremely proud of. Very much a tongue-in-cheek design, as it needed to bring an element of light-heartedness and fun to this family event. Within this design, I used the bold font along with the large-scaled characters to immediately capture the audience’s attention. During the design process, a vast amount of photoshop work was incorporated to further dramatise the concept. The design was influenced by the Sky Sports boxing style format, modernising a historical event in 1520, ‘The Field Of The Cloth Of Gold’.
