About me
I am passionate about the field I work in and love graphic design and illustration. From an early age, it has been an aspiration of mine to have a career in the creative sector. I am currently working freelance and am proficient in Adobe Suite software, in particular, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro. With a Degree in Illustration from the University of Portsmouth, where I gained valuable transferable skills and techniques, I was able to explore my creativity. During my time at a well-respected advertising and creative agency as a designer, I improved on my proficiency in a professional, fast-paced creative business environment. I have worked with a broad range of clients, from financial services to the charity sector. Working closely with the clients, within their guidelines, to produce high-quality creative work and meeting the client’s requirements. I work well under pressure and take great pride in my work, always striving for the best outcome. I am a friendly, approachable individual who not only enjoys working independently but also likes being part team environment.

  • Henry vii vs Francios i visual
Henry vii vs Francios i visualAdvert for the ‘It’s On!’ event at Hampton Court, London. Although the event never came to fruition as it was cancelled due to the pandemic, it is still a design that I am extremely proud of. Very much a tongue-in-cheek design, as it needed to bring an element of light-heartedness and fun to this family event. Within this design, I used the bold font along with the large-scaled characters to immediately capture the audience’s attention. During the design process, a vast amount of photoshop
  • Lord of the Rings illustrated movie poster
Lord of the Rings illustrated movie posterAlternate poster design for the Lord of the Rings. Inspiration was derived from famous artists, Drew Struzan. His ground-breaking and influential work has shaped the movie poster industry as well as my own work. I wanted to use my illustration skills and knowledge of photoshop to enhance the image to further dramatise the atmosphere of the narrative. The characters included in my work are not only vital characters, depicted from important scenes in the film but their placement on the page portr
  • Northern Lights book cover
Northern Lights book coverThe Northern Lights sequel from, His Dark Materials was a personal brief in publishing format. I wanted my design to reflect the narrative of fascination and enchantment by emphasising the importance of ‘dust’. I digitally hand-painted both of the protagonists with a star brush, highlighting the features of the characters through different shades and sizes.
  • Jupiter Visuals
Jupiter VisualsExperimental work for a pitch. I used a paint stroke and ink spill effect to portray the company’s free spirit and a human element. The use of the brand colour with a thin keyline box helped the headline to stand out. The painted images are also interacting with the orange box and breaking out, communicating the client’s out of the box thinking.
  • M&G Investments
M&G InvestmentsThese series of designs are based on a theme of building and working towards a positive future. The black and white main images are divided into blocks, whilst smaller images and brand colours are incorporated into the design to add the element of energy and dynamism. The designs hit on several themes such as diversification, eco-projects and supporting communities through challenging times.
  • RSPCA Christmas Sponsorship Pack
RSPCA Christmas Sponsorship PackThe target audience for this sponsorship pack was existing RSPCA members. I, along with a copywriter, came up with the Christmas pack concept - to make a cheerful, festive and fun design. I created a ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme through the use of illustrations and icons. This gave a brief insight into what happens at the centres on Christmas day and reassuring sponsors that the animals are taken care of.
