Lord of the Rings illustrated movie poster

Alternate poster design for the Lord of the Rings. Inspiration was derived from famous artists, Drew Struzan. His ground-breaking and influential work has shaped the movie poster industry as well as my own work. I wanted to use my illustration skills and knowledge of photoshop to enhance the image to further dramatise the atmosphere of the narrative. The characters included in my work are not only vital characters, depicted from important scenes in the film but their placement on the page portrays their relationships and the hierarchy of power in the story line
