Personal Brief
Create an annual report for a high end furniture design company.
Background
Herman Miller are a global company that design, develop and deliver high end furniture products and services. They are renowned for their innovation and research and strive to solve problems in new and creative ways. They are very cool and have a strong history of pushing their own designs.
Concept
This project was a great challenge and a chance to try present a lot of information in a clear, visually arresting and engaging manner. I wanted the information to really pop! Lots of the furniture seemed reminiscent of geometric shapes so I took a cue from there with the layout on the spreads. Further research proved that the client wasn't afraid of colour and seemed to channel a "contemporary with old modernist" vibe so I took my colour palette and image treatment inspiration from there. The rest is history!
