Hero MP job offer

In 2018 Anti tobacco draft laws 2820 & 4030a were recommended to the Parliament review almost 2 years ago. During all that time they have not been included into the Parliament’s agenda. And though MPs including the Speaker knew about the draft laws they did nothing to work with them. We came up with a solution to search for an MP who would own the law initiatives and unite his or her colleagues to support them. To do so we launched a job offer: The people of Ukraine wanted to hire a Hero MP. That person would step up against tobacco lobby and advocate for the anti-tobacco law initiatives. We placed the vacancy on a separate webpage and spread the news among influencers, media, and even messaged the link to some MPs. In a couple of month we found the Hero MP who arranged a group of likeminded people in the Parliament and both draft laws had their readings.
